The staff is amazing Massimo, and Dario came through with last-minute airport transportation arrangements and were very helpful. The full breakfast was delicious and the hotel’s location was convenient near San Marco square. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. The room was clean and comfortable. The only negative was noise from people in the upper floors and hallway, but overall it was a very good experience.

Fantastic stay in Venice

We loved our stay at Hotel Montecarlo. The staff were welcoming and helpful, giving us restaurant recommendations and advice. Great location only a few minutes walk from St Mark’s Square and the water taxi stands, lots of great places to eat and shop nearby. They also gave us free breakfast every day and afternoon tea every afternoon which was lovely. We had requested one of the more modern decorated rooms and they had accommodated this for us. Shower water pressure wasn’t great but other than that a fantastic stay. Thank you!

Hard to find a better location, it is literally 2 min walk to Piazza San Marco. Staff was really nice and helpful. Hotel conditions are a little bit outdated. Things work, but you can see that it needs a renovation.

We stayed in the annex, which is a short walk from the main hotel. The room was beautiful, but small like most other places in a packed city. It was in a great location around many shops and restaurants, and it was very close to the main square so we never needed to take the public transport which saved us some money.

Perfect Location

Staff is amazing and very accommodating. Location is outstanding to go anywhere within Venice walking. Hotel is close to back waterway if using private water taxi to/from airport. Convenient to Tronchetto by water. Breakfast is phenomenal.
