The property is really quirky but has a real funky feel to it. We stayed in a hammock room (404) which has a random hammock hanging from the ceiling. It was really spacious and warm. I would wholly recommend the place. The only criticism I could offer is that there is a fair bit of external noise from traffic but that would be me being picky. If we ever return to Vienna I will definately stay here again.

Great hotel!

Visited VIE for the first time. Hotel Daniel was in a great location and very easy to get around the city. I loved the restaurant and breakfast especially. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful.

Initial impression was good. Very close to Tram stop (pretty much a 60 second walk from the door of the hotel). Was able to drop the bags at the hotel as the flight in was an early one. Returned later to actually check in and the male staff member was extremely helpful. Explained everything in detail and answered any questions. As we were staying 3 nights, he advised that the items in the mini bar were included in the price. we could have it refilled afterwards for a fee but on the final day(last night), a free refill of the mini bar was included. He said just to ask at reception on the final morning and they would refill it (again free of charge on the final day). When i said this to the female staff member at reception on the final morning, she said no, you will be charged for all and every refill of the mini bar regardless. There was a bit of an attitude from this staff member and feel like this is the ONLY thing that let the hotel down. Apart from the above, the room was clean, tidy, comfortable and the hotel location was excellent with plenty of transport links.

A very pleasant stay

This was our first time in Hotel Daniel Vienna and we loved it. The room was spacious and stylish, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and so were the dinner and cocktails. A large parking space. Strong WiFi.

We loved it. The hotel is just around the corner from the Alma Mater Europaea University where we had an event, so we had our stay, dinner, breakfast in Hotel Daniel Vienna. What a wonderful hotel, restaurant and bar. Highly recommended.

Good Value

This hotel is very good value. Although it's not bang in the centre of Vienna it has excellent public transport links to the centre with the journey taking about 7 minutes on the train and less than 15 on the tram. The room is a good size with a powerful shower. Only grumbles were a lack of efficient room temperature regulation which would definitely be a problem in Summer and no closet space. Apart from these niggles I would definitely recommend the Daniel as an excellent choice.
