We were in a large, ground floor room in the Tauhara wing. Lovely big room with lots of space and a pleasant outlook. Only negative was it was opposite housekeeping and they wete noisy. Would stay here again but in a different room. Lovely pools, grounds and outlook. lots of space and

Clean room, great amenities! Kids enjoyed the basketball and tennis courts. We all enjoyed the heated (very warm) pool. Park like setting, but close to downtown Taupo and all the tourist destinations. Loved our stay! Would recommend!

This hotel has had a real uplift since the change in management. Everything feels a bit cleaner and fresher, and the staff — especially in the restaurant and the cleaning staff— are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself has a lovely, refined atmosphere, set in a space with a stunning timber ceiling. With continued upgrades and refreshing of the facilities, this resort has the potential to become a truly top-tier hotel.

The villa was not as clean as I would expect. Extra bed that I requested was terrible and I didn't get a good night's sleep at all on the pull out mattress. Really not what I expected and what was displayed on Hotels.com site. Staff was very friendly, but the request to provide a better bed fell on death ears and I didn't get any rest. We had heavy rain, and the front door could not be accessed without feet being soaking wet. This is due to the guttering not being maintained. Other than that the pools were nice. I won't however recommend this and if I could will request my money back. Long awaited trip and rest didn't turn out as I have planned it.
