This hotel is close to both the Smithsonian and the metro. You can get anywhere in the city from this location. Rooms are exceptionally clean. My only feedback is they are a little dated... however the location and cleanliness make this a great stay!

Our room did not match the pictures and our WiFi was in and out. Upon check in our front desk person was training someone and neglected to tell us about the WiFi passwords, my phone connected immediately but was later told that I needed to go in and put in our name and password to prevent it from “the no internet service” I got all the time. It made it very difficult to get info about food and stuff in the area.

The shower did not work properly so the water came out as a drizzle, the room cards did not work on half of the elevators, the beds were hard. The secret service had a room on our floor I guess a good thing? Overall it was okay. Would I stay there again? Probably not

Front desk staff was efficient but not very friendly upon check-in. It was our first time in DC and it would have been helpful to be able to ask for some input / recommendations but it's definitely not approachable. Checked into the room to find the refrigerator not working. Huge hairball on the bathroom floor. Almonds scattered on the floor under the desk. Was more than obvious this room had not been cleaned after the last guest left. If I was paying $99 a night for her room I would expect this, but it over $300 this was totally unacceptable. I was texted during my stay to see if everything was okay I responded no, and there was absolutely no follow-up. Definitely would not recommend
