Another pleasant stay at Ufford Park. About time the remark suite has some TLC though and a bit of investment to bring back its charm.

Rooms were tidy and comfortable but it was obvious that the fan available would be very much needed on a hot night. Any upgrade would have to include air conditioning. The golf course was well presented with excellent greens. Clubhouse staff and reception in the hotel were very helpful. Breakfast and dinner were tasty and well prepared.

2 Night Break

Friendly staff. Dog happy. Children loved pool and mini golf. Food surprisingly good. Will visit again.

Nice stay as always but Thermal Suite needs TLC

Pros: Nice bedrooms, we stayed in the room class one above the cheapest. Clean and comfortable
Cons: For total relaxation the thermal suite needs to be perfect. An environment where things are broken or missing evokes frustration, not relaxation.
Location: Rural location, perfect for country walks or a round of golf at the hotel.
Stayed here occasionally since 2014. Main reason for visit is the thermal suite. Rest of hotel provides quality which can be found at most 4 star hotels. For us, Thermal Suite is the biggest attribute, something you can't find elsewhere. Very relaxing and also great value. On most recent stay we felt the Thermal Suite is starting to lose some of its charm. Small things bring the whole experience together. -Mood lighting not working? Subtle shades of blue, purple & green heighten ones sense of relaxation. -Tropical showers - The peppermint & citrus aromas which used to disperse into the air and fill your lungs are no longer used? -Relaxation area - We have noticed the complementary herbal teas have changed, maybe a cheaper brand? In our opinion they aren't as good. Also no music playing, however after pointing that out it was fixed for the following day. -Aromatherapy steam room - Only one of the settings works. The other two apparently don't work. -Hydrotherapy pool. At least one of the upright seats (2nd on right) has faulty jets and one head rest falls off. Also, the lie flat beds by the steps, a head rest is needed. They aren't comfortable. -One towel provided however it has to be used in sauna. Have to go back to reception for another towel To keep our custom for years to come, please not only repair but improve and innovate. It would be great to find something new to try on our next visit.
