This stylishly furnished apartment is in a great location being under 200 metres from the Blue Flag beach. It’s also right at the centre of Woolacombe village and is in a spectacular position making the most of the outstanding sea views. Retire from the beach and take a drink out on the balcony to finish the evening off in style.
Access is on the first floor, from the rear parking area, with a few steps down to the entrance. You can see from the well-designed bedroom that the owners have taken great care with attention to detail in the presentation of this first-class second-floor apartment. This comfortable, stylish accommodation is located on the side of the building where patio doors provide access to the balcony from the open-plan living room; this balcony has a table and two chairs and views of Woolacombe Beach. Maple units and granite-style work surfaces complement the kitchen and dining areas to the rear. There are two bedrooms, a spacious en-suite double and a twin room that is served by a separate bathroom. A good selection of games, books and DVDs are available for a relaxing holiday.
You’ll be in the heart of the village, where there’s a good choice of restaurants, shops and pubs. You will also be right next to the rugged South West Coast Path and 3 miles of glorious sandy beach. If you walk for 2.5 miles along the coastal path (or along the beach), you’ll come to Putsborough Beach, another excellent spot for surfing and sandcastles. If retail is more your thing, the large village of Braunton (5.5 miles) has plenty of shops and a monthly farmers’ market. A little bit further afield is Barnstaple (11 miles), North Devon’s main town, where you can head to the cinema, the theatre, the leisure centre or shop until you drop on the high street.
