We started off having a drink in the sports bar..booked into our room which was small but very clean..booked a table for evening meal.the food was absolutely lovely.the staff was so friendly and easy to talk to..breakfast was really nice .. a very nice stay comfy bed ..will be booking back up

Staff were helpful and polite. The room was clean, with an excellent view. But the bed was not very comfortable, and the heating was not brilliant. The fixtures and fittings were worn and dated. The County Hotel, Newcastle
Good location. Quite expensive for such a Small room. very hot. No a/c and windows couldn’t be opened. The hairdryer was coated in a sticky substance. I won’t be returning

Lumley Castle Hotel
cooked breakfast slightly overcooked but the breakfast menu was varied and good. Bedrooms are clean and feel part of the castle
