My only complaint is the bathroom door shuts automatically. It's a pain when getting ready but you can just use a shoe to keep it open. Otherwise, this hotel was excellent for the price. It's centrally located to shops, restaurants, and there's a train station right out front. The staff were great. I really enjoyed the breakfast, the staff handling the buffet were very good. They kept everything clean and were nice to every guest. I would stay here again.

Actually I dont usually do reviews but this was such a lovely experience I thought I would. Very interesting hotel. Fantastically located, the UBahn station is located in front of the hotel and once you have mastered the engineering schedule its easy to get around. Shops and monuments are walkable too. But the most amazing thing is that everyone seem so kind and helpful. Certainly the staff at the hotel were fantastic. Enjoy.

Very good hotel but loyalty is not rewarded

Third time we have stayed in this hotel and we are always impressed with the value, cleanliness and location, which is ideal for anyone but especially for LGBTQ+ travellers who wish to enjoy the local gay scene. We were disappointed that despite this being our third stay in this hotel, this wasn't acknowledged at check-in (for example with "Welcome back" or "Good to have you with us again" and I was very disappointed that ALL loyalty points are not awarded for stays booked via hotels.com – which feels like we are actually being treated as disloyal for not booking with the hotel directly, instead of the loyal Mercure guests we are. This means we will consider staying elsewhere on our next visit to Berlin.
