Good experience

I had a quick stay for 1 night with my family...after a long night jouneyvfrom London to Brussels. The check in was quick and the staff was very efficient n courteous to give us a room abt 6 hours before official time as we had a baby with us. Swift check out next morning and they gave us all info we naaded.

Hotel un peu vetuste, sdb notamment. parking en face 13,50€ par jour. métro en face. commerces à proximité. Petit dej correct mais pas de fruit ni yaourt pour les amateurs. Personnel accueillant.

Voyage entre amis, personnel très agréable, les chambres sont très confortable au niveau literie par contre baignoire sale et salle de bain minuscule. Chambre avec une fenetre donnant sur un mur. Heureusement, le personnel a pu nous attribuer une nouvelle chambre conforme à notre réservation. Dernier point, suite erreur manipulation, le débit des chambres a été prélévé 2 fois par erreur sur mon compte. le remboursement a été fait le lendemain de mon appel mais cela faisait déjà 5 jours que le prélèvement avait été fait. J'attends d'ailleurs un dédommagement commercial de la part de l'hotel.

Affordable accommodation in Brussels downtown

This simple hotel has a handy location betwern the city centre and Gare du Midi. Single rooms are small, but ok for a few nights' stay. Good buffet breakfast.

Brysseliläistä keskivertonuhjuisuutta

Sijainti Gare du Midin lähellä, lähin metroasema Lemonnier. Epämääräistä seutua. Tai ainakin illalla saapuessa siltä kovasti vaikutti. Pääkadun varressa paikallinen R-kioski/kaupantapainen. Hotellissa asiallinen vastaanotto. Hississä melkein iski klaustrofobia ja kovasti epäilytti josko se jaksaa 3. kerrokseen saakka. Portaita sitten enimäkseen liikennöinkin. Kapeaa käytävää sokkeloisesti huoneeseen. Onneksi oli varauloskäynti heti vieressä :) Huone pieni ja kalsea, siisti mutta nuhjuinen ja pölyisen oloinen. Haisi...joltakin - polttoaineen käryltä? Lisäpatteri kyllä lämpeni. mutta ei isommin auttanut hohkaavaan kylmyyteen. Kylppäri oli siisti ja suihkuvesi kuumaa. Ikkunan takana tyypillisesti naapuritalon seinä metrin päässä. Lontoossa ja Brysselissä olen yöpynyt tämän hintaisissa - ja tasoisissa - paikoissa ennenkin. Jatkossa panostan enemmän sijaintiin ja laatuun, vaikka sitten vähän enemmän maksaisikin - tajusin olevani keski-ikäinen ja mukavuudenhaluinen :)
