Excellent Value to Convenience Ratio

Pros: Locality. Value. Cleanliness. Friendly.

Cons: The owner might consider a drinks vending machine in the inner courtyard because the nearest shop is a fair walk away.

Location: The location is within walking distance to the city centre.

The guesthouse was well situated about 1 km from the centre of Budapest. Easy to reach the centre on foot, the metro station is about 0.5 km from the Garden House if you want to save some shoe leather. The owner of the Garden House told me he sees it as a guesthouse rather than a hotel and this would be an accurate description of the property. The room I had was clean, spacious, with tv and good beds. Plenty of clean towels. My room had a shared bathroom but this wasn't a problem. Reception staff are very helpful with local information. I would say this accommodation was excellent value for money for the price I paid. I found the property homely and relaxing compared with the formality of the big corporate hoteliers in the centre of town. You can really talk with the staff on most subjects whereas the staff in big hotels are usually quite formal and reserved.

Der Gast hat die Kontrolle über die Raumheizung. Wenn er nicht weiß, wie man dies verwendet, sollte er uns dies mitteilen. Es gibt keine undichten Fenster.
