erholsamer Frühlingsurlaub

Das Hotel ist sehr schön, leider nicht für ältere Leute, wegen der vielen Treppen. Das Frühstücksbüffet war sehr reichhaltig und gut. Beim Nachtessen wiederholt sich der Speiseplan wöchentlich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir fühlten uns wohl.

wie Fotos täuschen

Der Zustand des Hotels ist an vielen Ecken renovierungsbedürftig. Das Schwimmbad hat in den Fugen schwarze Schimmelsporen, der Speisesaal den Charme einer Kantine. Unser Zimmer (superior) war zwar sehr groß, das Bett (sauber und neu!)mit 140x200 aber schmal. Die Sofas ausgeleiert, irgendwie auch versifft wirkend.2 Flatscreen-TV!! Das Bad war wohl im Originalzustand von 1980 und hatte nichts mit dem Foto der website zu tun. Das Geländer am Balkon schon rostig. Dort wo Farbe an den Wänden frisch aufgetragen war, hatte man am Boden Farbflecken etc. Auch ist nichts von den Lounge-Möbeln am Pool zu sehen wie auf den Fotos. Stattdessen sind dort Liegen mit teils abfallenden Rädern und hygienisch bedenklichen Polstern. Positiv war das Frühstück mit frisch gemachten Eiern aller Art, Omlette, frischen Teilchen, frisches Brot und Brötchen, Pfannkuchen, Crepes, frischem Kaffee aus dem Automaten (WMF), gutem Orangensaft, vielerlei Müsli (Bircher), Yoghurt, Wurst, Käse. Schulnote 1!! Personal nett. Lage mit toller Aussicht, etwas weg vom Zentrum Paguera. Wer es nicht weiß: Paguera ist ein Touristenzentrum mit typischer Touristenmeile, vielen Shops und Restaurants. Idylische Lagen sind woanders, wobei man im Hotel davon nichts mitbekommt. Zusammenfassend ist es ein veraltetes 4Sterne-Hotel, was noch viel Renovierungsstau aufweist. Wie gesagt: die Fotos täuschen.

Wunderschöner & erholsamer Urlaub

Das Galatzo Hotel hat uns von Beginn an zu 100% überzeugt. Der Empfang war bereits sehr warm und enorm freundlich. Unser Zimmer war hell, modern eingreichtet und wurde täglich sauber geputzt. Das Buffet im Restaurant war sehr abwechslungsreich und jeweils sehr lecker. Der Service hat uns ebenfalls sehr gefallen, viele Angestellte konnten sich auf Deutsch verständigen und waren meistens gut gelaunt bzw. freundlich. Das Restaurant Vista de Rey bietet am Mittag eine köstliche Snack-Karte an, wir haben uns durch die halbe Karte gegessen und wir können vor allem die Faqitas und die Pizzen weiterempfehlen :) Am Abend verwandelt sich dieses Restaurant, unserer Meinung nach, in ein Gault Millau-Restaurant. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, die Karte leider ein wenig knapp gehalten. Wir waren nicht im Besitz eines Mietwagens & haben diesen aufgrund des Shuttle-Services auch nicht Vermisst. Jedoch sollte man für den Shuttle gut 30 Minuten Wartezeit einrechnen, da der Van für die vielen Besucher zu klein geraten ist. Im Notfall ist Peguera zu Fuss innert 15 Gehminuten gut erreichbar. Wir können dieses Hotel allen Urlaubern, die Entspannung und Erholung suchen, wärmstens weiter empfehlen.
