Dreadful place.no lift, no air con, didn't heed our original requests. We were put in a disabled room on the third floor with no air con and I'm glad we are still even over 60 able because that room was a disgrace. I know they are understaffed but to keep lying and giving out wrong information. We waited 2 hours for a meal. Awful.

Miserable receptionist greeted us, then had to pay £5 to park in their own car park!!. Price included breakfast which nicely laid out but at 7.00’am the ‘hot’ food was barely warm and there were no hot plates, so not worth having.

Nice hotel.ideal placed

Cons: The breakfast
Location: Handy to visit relatives
Very good hotel. Enjoyed my stay. Only problem, was the hot breakfast. It was only luke warm.

Ideal stay accommodating 3 adults

Hotel was very close to train station so ideal for travelling into Cambridge without hassle of parking. Clean and tidy ideal stop over when visiting Cambridge.

It served us well for what we needed.

It was a nice hotel, good location for getting into Cambridge. The only very slight problem was we had a long queue to get to the self service breakfast which seemed to be owing to just one toaster available which can take a long time and it was in demand that morning. No other problems. The adjoining room we had for my disabled mother was well equipped for her and she had plenty of room to get her wheelchair round in. Would happily use this hotel again. Staff were really helpful.

Short Break Away

Had a short stay and used the hotel as a base for the local area. Good connections to the road, lovely setting. Didn't have any problems with noise despite being near the railway. Room was clean. Breakfast was included too and had a good choice. Would stay again.

Standard good service

A good solid hotel and service you would hope for. The only let down was breakfast - the usual, rather disappointing fayre. Other than that great (and the food at the pub next door is fantastic).

Express!! It did the job

I was much expressed with the hotel even though it was a little bit too far out from where we wanted to be. The hotel itself was right next to the train tracks which we were concerned about the noise but too be honest we could hardly hear it. We were so impressed with the modern layout of the hotel room, especially the bathroom and its LED lights that were different colours (they do take a while to brighten up but perfect for night time trips to the loo, as they weren’t bright) Great lay in because of the blackout blinds and there was no noise…. Fantastic!!!! Complimentary breakfast went down a treat with a nice atmosphere. Top Marks all round!!
