The room was nice, but the bed was uncomfortable, hard mattress. My main issue was the restaurants within the resorts were not communicating with each other, I would call to make reservations for dinner the staff would say no need for reservations, once we arrive there the staff says you need reservations and that was multiple restaurants on site with the same issue, no communication amongst staff so frustrating. The wait time for restaurants was 1-2 hours. We ended up ordering room service, the food was always cold. The buffet was a hit or miss. Customer service was good, very nice.

WORST RESORT EVER! I had multiple issues as noted: 1. First room was HOT as hell as the A/C unit was not blowing any cool air and took 2.5hrs to fix. 2. We were offered a room that had a horrible smell of mold to replace the room without A/C, we decided to wait for the A/C unit to be fix. 3. Our lock for our room door stopped working which we previously informed help desk about and we ended up locked out in wet bathing suits for over an hour. 4. Had to demand a new room and upgrade to accommodate the ongoing issues we had at the resort. 5. New room on Secrets side had A/C that wasn't working appropriately as we could not turn the A/C down, so we were FREEZING at night. We were tired of not being appropriately supported by the help desk and would bundle up in our clothing at night. 6. Food was overly SALTY! Hypertension with every bite. 7. Reception desk was of little help, it felt like once they checked us in, they no longer cared how we were feeling about our stay. Several times I had to physical go to the reception desk as they would put me on a long hold when I called. 8. The rooms had mold on the lampshades, and were poorly maintained. 9. The only good thing was that the beds were relatively comfortable and we didn't wake up in pain. 10. We received an upgraded breakfast which was okay but overall 1/10 - would NEVER EVER recommend. Speaking with the locals I was informed that this hotel has several complaints from guest. My advise - DO NOT book this resort EVER!

I had a good experience overall. However, I noticed that the staff tended to give better treatment to white guests, which was disappointing. I traveled with friends from Mexico, Colombia, and the United States. In short, we often had to send the white members of our group to ask for assistance or to be heard. Because of this experience, I probably won't return. Despite that, it was still a fun and nice place.

Room was clean and food was average. Wait times at restaurants are longer than expected. Charly Boy was always on the spot for drinks by the pool. Property is outdated compared to other Cancún properties.
