The staff were very friendly. The property was very old and the area smelled. We had 4 rooms and all had problems. Sewer smell, bathroom won’t flush, AC broke, ceiling leaked water. 4 out of 8 people got food poisoned. Very limited seafood. Food was cheap quality. Orange juice and milk tested nothing like orange or milk. Restaurants were a big disappointment. Overall I can only give 2 stars for the staff that was helpful. Other than that was a waste of money and time.

Service was not great. The food options were disastrous and my stomach got upset after the over cooked chicken at Spice restaurant. The bar tenders offer drinks if you pay them good tips. Overall a bad experience.

My husband and I stayed Here with our 3 daughters and we had an amazing stay. The grounds are beautiful and the staff are top notch here! We like to hop around and try new new resorts, but we’d definitely come back here. Our daughters said this has been their favorite resort so far. The ONLY reason I’d give it 4 stars is the food but that said, we never went hungry. I’d definitely recommend Dreams Jade to anyone!

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Resort was very clean. For all inclusive the food/dining options were great. Hard to get into the hibachi restaurant with limited availability and the line opens at 1515 for reservations later that night. Not the resorts fault, but unfortunately the seaweed was horrific this time of year and unable to use the beach, there was a pungent smell, and couldn't see the crystal blue waters. However, they did their best to pick it up with a tractor every morning.

I am someone with food allergies and they did an amazing job of keeping me safe when ordering food. You get a bracelet and that identifies you with an allergy and the restaurant servers check your room notes before sending anything out to you. The buffet has some GF packaged items but you have to be ok with having something there that is in the buffet. The entertainment was ok, nothing to write home about. Maybe kids would appreciate more. The staff is friendly and hardworking. Very clean place. Some staff do not know English but I found the vast majority of waiters and people did. The property is small and walkable. Had a great experience in the spa. Fish pedicure and massage. Kept the beach clean from the seaweed each morning which was some task. It’s family friendly so you have to be ok with kids around but they were well behaved. Nice crowd. Would recommend. If you stay for a while you should do excursions otherwise I can see it being boring. The one critique would be that the arts n crafts events are limited to 12 people each and that’s really not a lot at all for a whole resort. They should set up more tables and have someone with a microphone lead the event. Someone in my party was disappointed that just the kids were doing the paint by the beach activity. You can’t make reservations and you had to be there an hour in advance in the heat. No thanks.

Just returned from my wonderful stay here at Dreams Jade resort. This hotel is very nice and clean! I booked an oceanfront room on the preferred side. Room was spacious and nice. Thanks to Miguel for taking care of our room! We enjoyed the room service. If it was not for the seaweed, and you were looking to see and hear the ocean, oceanfront is the way to go. We were lucky to be in building 9. I still saw the beautiful blue ocean but it was back a bit because of the seaweed. The staff worked hard every day to clear the beaches. From check-in to check out, everything was fabulous. The staff was beyond friendly and always accommodating. The food was good and there was always something going on every night. Shout out to Armando and the staff at the pool, the drinks and snacks, excellent service! Maureen thanks for recommending the catamaran to Isle of Mujeres! Amazing resort and amazing staff , second time here and we loved it , only thing they don’t have a lot of seafood , if u a seafood lover this is not ur best option. Almost all the food is always Mexican which we loved and it wasn’t an issue , they have a lot of drinks varieties. The room upgrade that Expedia offered because I’m gold they said no availability and didn’t let me even finished saying it I guess they trained the staff to say that and don’t give out the upgrade.

Not personable at all. We would walk past employees and they wouldn’t acknowledge. I’ve stayed at many resorts and this was by far worst customer service. The only ones that were super nice and accommodating were the ones trying to get you to sign up for vacation club. Food was great no complaints. Room service average wait was 1 hour and a half. Mini bar in room was not stocked every day.
