The room was generally clean however there was a chocolate bar on the floor by the window which made us wonder what else might have been missed. The toilet seat was really lose and the bathroom door lock was broken. Since it was just the two or us we didn't left it

Room was large and clean but felt tired. Staff were friendly, location was just outsode town, easy to getting in and out with taxi's. Would probably not stay again would look for a hotel with a bit more of a modern feel but that is personal preference.

The room was clean and presentatable. However the bed and pillows were extremely hard. Although there were tea and coffee provided there was no water bottles, although there was a flask and water fountain by the lift.

I’ve stayed at Future Inn Cardiff many times over the years and have always found it a reliable and comfortable place to stay. Unfortunately, this recent visit was by far the worst experience I’ve had here. The room itself wasn’t great — the walk-in shower was poor, and when I went to unplug my phone charger from the bedside fitting, the whole socket came away from the wall. Around our room, bottles and plates from other guests were left in the corridor from the afternoon and were still there the next morning when we checked out. Overall, the hotel just didn’t feel as clean or as well-kept as it has been in the past. It’s lost that polished, well-run feel I’ve come to expect. I was due to stay again in a few weeks’ time, but at around £450 for one night in a similar room, I’ve decided to cancel. I’ll drive to Cardiff and back rather than pay that much for what no longer feels like good value.

Worst night sleep ever, bed was rock solid, bathroom fan very loud all night unable to turn it off. Stayed in a supposedly accessible room, apart from room being a good size. The bathroom was poor, tiny folding shower seat, toilet really low l. Both bathroom and room doors were very heavy. Only plus was that staff did go through evacuation plan with me as im a wheelchair user
