Firstly the hotel has a nice look reception staff friendly and restrurant/bar looks good too. I did eat dinner there and it was lovely I stayed in room 220. Very clean good products in bathroom . Nice to have a fridge. Bed comfy. Negatives bath an odd shape tight fit to lay down a big person would struggle. But worst was the heating . I had to put extra clothes on it was so cold . I told reception next morning and they put an electric heater in the room which helped. For a lovely hotel and the cost its not good enought and the heater will not be enough when the weather gets colder. For that reason I wont return unless this issue is fixed.

I checked in after a long day at work, fine no issue, went to my room having not been told that the hotel was running some sort of halloween offer as there were kids EVERYWHERE! so I came down stairs at approx 5.50pm to use the pool and steam room only for one of the receptionists run like mad to stop me from entering the pool telling me "its full when arent letting anyone else into the pool" ok fine i'll just use the steam room instead, "no were nit letting anyone in full stop" EXCUSE ME having paid a substantial sum for a one night stay I dont expect to be told I cant use facilities I'VE PAID FOR because you choose to turn the pool into Butlins. I am down in the area for work again in a couple of weeks and guess what... I wont be spending another penny in that hotel. Outrageous, extremly unhappy, nobody checked on leaving if everything was ok etc etc. Just took my money and basically gave me the impression I just have to suck it up.....
