Only emailed on the day of the stay today some facilities were not available - jacuzzi. No way to control the temperature in the bedroom - excessively hot. So bad that had to check out at midnight and drive 3 hours home as it was unbearable.,

Great food options. Bed was comfy. But the room was far to warm and we struggled to sleep. Some of the staff seemed like they couldn't be bothered. The spa was amazing i had a really good treatment very relaxing and professional. Breakfast was very nice. And plenty of options. We did have food out of the hotel in the evening. We was going to stay however. When we went downstairs there was a massive party going on. Not what we was expecting.

Receptionist was great on check in. Room was spotless and fabulous. The carafe of sherry was a really nice touch, together with the pringles and biscuits. I didn't actually use the pool but looked lovely. Food in the bar was great. The only real criticism was that the cooked breakfast buffet on my first morning was almost cold! 2nd morning I chose a cold breakfast because of that.

The check-in was smooth, the food delicious. The pool was lovely. Our only small gripe was that there appeared to be a number of new staff in the restaurant and bar who perhaps lacked essential training, all were very pleasant but didn't appear to have been fully briefed on their roles and how to carry them out. We understand training time may be limited but it would assist guests greatly. Many thanks for an overall great stay!
