A decent stay

When I arrived the staff were polite and friendly, the room was well presented and clean, unfortunately there was a noticeable smell coming from the shower drain. In the evening when I used the stairs there was a fork and some food that had been spilled, this was still there in the morning. I advised the staff at reception and they sorted it.

It's OK but weird over the top security.

It was very budget but decent. The room is as tiny as you can get but everything is clean furnished to a good standard. It's just incredibly tiny. The confusing part is really not allowing guests visitors past 11PM. The reception locks the reception doors and a security guard mans the entrance and you have to give your identification before they let you in. This is completely over the top and unnecessary.

Not the best. The only redeeming feature is that it’s in the city centre. People were talking outside our hotel room gone 1AM. We were then woken by maintenance at 8.30AM. Bed was very hard and the soap dispenser kept falling off the shower wall. Id fork out some extra money just to stay somewhere nicer.

This hotel is extremely convenient for Cardiff Central Station, it's just a short walk away. I was a solo female traveller and the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, assisting me with how to operate the air conditioning and where to find food and taxis. The room was small but clean, and the bed was comfortable with a choice of pillows. Recommended for a short stopover.

Nice budget hotel

Good location, but no car park. The hotel staff really friendly and noting is too much trouble. Surprisingly quiet as for the location. Room a bit small, small double bed, limited space, sink top big to the proportion of the bathroom, limits the use. Light was not working in the room, only side lights, but that wasn't an issue.
