Charming old country store style residence in the town of Brent, Alabama.
"The "old store" was clean, charming, well-decorated, and lovely. It was nice to see something old being made useful and beautiful again! The owner provided several special touches such as a tray of fruits and treats in the kitchen and a selection of special bathroom amenities. There was even a phonograph with albums to use for one's listening pleaure! In the humid heat of central Alabama, I was ever so grateful for the well-working AC!There was considerable traffic noise and siren noise while we were there which made uninterrupted sleep difficult. Hopefully, that is not normal. Also, one message to our host went unanswered; the response may not have been critical, but having it ignored wasn't for the best, either. It is a lovely place to stay!"
