Hotel provide nice service, rooms are comfortable and clean. However they claimed as dog friendly hotel, but there is no single bin to dispose dogs poo, so I had to walk outside hotel quite far to find public bin to dispose black poo bag. There is £25 extra charge for a dog, but you have no extras for your 4 legs friend. No dogs bowls for a water, no treats for a dogs either. Great hotel if you have no pet with you, but wouldn't recommend if you travel with your furry friend

Lovely stay but wish Pool opened longer on weekend

Lovely stay. Would definitely go back. Nice room, breakfast was good, and dinner too. My only negative really is that the swimming pool has annoying opening times on the weekend so we couldn't really go. Not sure why they have to shorten the opening times by so much on the weekend.

Easily accessible and plenty of free parking, fantastic facilities including lovely pool and spa, comfy kingsize bed and spacious spotless rooms, very good value!! Breakfast add-on is quite steep and check-in process was a bit transactional but second receptionist was very polite, friendly and keep to help.

Most staff were unfriendly, not engaging, majority of them miserable! On check out we had one member of staff smile at us. I've never felt so unwelcome in a hotel. Checked in and had to ask what time breakfast was, where was our room and pay a £50 holding fee just in case I use room service. That wasn't stated in the booking through the site I booked. Every question I asked I got an eye roll response. I asked receptionist about the bar and food, she said "menu in the room" (no menu was in our room). I asked how to get to my room, was told "the lift behind you" I looked to see the lift and turned round to say thank you and she was straight on the phone as if my prescence was an inconvenience for her! I felt like I'd get a better welcome just signing in on a tablet. Breakfast staff, well, I got to the welcome desk and said my room number, waitress couldn't see it so just said no worries and stared at me, so I asked "do I just help myself? " and she said "yep". I asked another member of staff where the toast was as I hadn't spotted it, she rolled her eyes and stated "over there!" The coffee machine broke and I let the same member know and she just looked at me then walked on! The bed was very uncomfortable and only two pillows provided with no extra in a cupboard, even premier inn have those. The pillows were lifeless and we had the most uncomfortable sleep! All in all, I normally walk into hotels and feel welcomed by polite and friendly staff, not here!

Clean and tidy but room for improvement

The shower holder was broken in the bathroom, so was pointing at the floor and the shower gel had not been filled up. The bar food wasn’t great, especially for the price and when asked if we wanted any sauces we said no thank you, but cutlery would be nice. The couple next to us had to ask for cutlery as well. Another lady ordered a hot sandwich after 6pm which was sent back as it was very poor but we was told that we couldn’t have a sandwich as it was after 6pm! Didn’t find the staff overly friendly but the hotel was clean and tidy.

Air con in the room didnt work so was very warm, had a fan in the room but due to location of plug points wasnt great Plug and shower tray beed replacing-dirty, rusty and very slippy Breakfast-dont seem equipped to cope when busy.people struggling to find clean tables, hot food not topped up regularly so half was missing and had to wait for items to come out.a poor man had been waiting 23minutes for poached eggs!!and ad for the toaster-you have to put the bread through at least 5 times to get something that resembles toast Spa area was om but not many places for people to actually sit

Great hotel

Great hotel with friendly staff who welcomed me and my friend with a smile. Very quick checking us in as well. Room was spacious and the floor we was on was quiet as well. Overall great experience, will be back again soon !

Hotel is fine for a short stay, the breakfast was poor, limited options, some food and drink ran out early. Coffee machine broken and long waits to get a drink. Hot food was dry and over held. Otherwise it’s fine for what it is. Long wait to check in and out and people complaining about mis charges to their room bill, this was not a problem for us on this stay.
