This would have been a great stay but the culinary experience at LondonHouse made it terrible. We booked 2 rooms for the first night of the Cowboy Carter concert in Chicago. We ordered l food before the concert on the second floor lounge, all the food came in boxes and the order was wrong. There was no attempt to correct the order other than serving additional drinks we didn’t want. The next day we tried again to utilize one of the site restaurants, the LH Rooftop. We were seated, then waited over 20 minutes for someone to come to our table. We were the only guests seated inside the restaurant so the wait was unwarranted. A member of our party left to requested a manager who said they wound be sending someone over. We waited another ten minutes before leaving. As we were walking to the door, the assigned waitperson was rude and confrontational. What should have been a fun weekend in the city turned into an expensive and uncomfortable endeavor. I expected more from a premier Hilton located in such a bustling area in Chicago.

Quick little getaway.

Check in was quick and painless. Valet was fast. Great location, very close to everywhere we planned on going. The room and beds were a little small but extremely comfortable. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We loved our view of the river and downtown Chicago. We would not hesitate to book here again.

The best thing is that it's easy to access the rooftop café, the location is convenient, and the lake view from the hotel room is excellent. The downside is that the food at the hotel restaurant doesn't taste good.

I travel to Chicago (and all over) frequently for work, but this was the first time I have stayed at LondonHouse - though it won't be the last. Their staff went above and beyond to make the stay lovely - from the doormen remembering my name to barstaff and room service remembering my gluten allergy to even helping me arrange my ride back to O'Hare. I also got to experience the events end as I was there to photograph a wedding, and everything was done expertly and with such warmth and joy that it stood out. I would highly recomend LondonHouse to anyone visiting Chicago - beyond the excellent location, beautiful views, and convient walkability, the staff here makes the experience so comfortable and inviting that you won't want to leave.
