We have stayed here many times before which was why we chose to stay again. The room was spacious and very clean. The day before our stay I had an email saying the restaurant was no longer open (one reason for staying was for the restaurant). the first night we ate out with friend as previously arranged. The next night the bar was closed. The third night we were told the bar would be open, we went down at 7.40 and it was closed, we returned at 8pm and it was still closed. we didn't have breakfast the first morning as we had to be away early, the second morning breakfast was lovely, just as we'd remembered. the third morning, though we booked at 7.30 it didn't open until 8.00 and the food was cold and not up to standard.
