First impression of the front of the property was very good, with lots of colourful hanging baskets. The staff and service here were exceptional- very friendly and helpful at all times. Excellent food choices for breakfast and the best cooked breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Warm, cosy room, super powerful shower. Only negatives were the decor was a bit dated and the room was a bit tired. But the positives outweighed the negatives. This was our third visit, so that speaks for itself. Well done to the welcoming and friendly staff for their lovely service. We will be back! 😊

Nice hotel with very pleasing staff

Pros: The pleasing and pleasant owners and staff. the cleanliness and the good food and drink.
Cons: Coat hooks on bathroom doors and room door. Bath mats inside bath. More and brighter light in the bathroom.
Location: the location was good with shops and other restaurants nearby - you can take a paddle steamer during the summer months.
We 5 enjoyed our stay the staff were kind and understanding, the food was very good the amenities were of a 3 star standard but there were little things which could have improved the room to a higher standard. the most impressive thing was nothing was too much trouble and you felt as though you were important to them because of this.
