The only thing not cheap about this place is the price. First there’s the smell. Then the paper thin towels. Had to request a teensy bar of soap to wash my hands. Won’t be back. Ever.

Location location location

Great stay. Location is perfect if you want enjoy Durango historic downtown and ride the train. Lots of places to eat at walking distance.

We were very happy with Durango Lodge! It was comfortable, clean, and employees were friendly and helpful. We had an early flight (5 AM), so the night before, the gentleman working gave us a snack bag for breakfast on our way to the airport! Our only complaint was that there wasn’t enough parking at the lodge, so we had to park in another lot.

Amazing location! Two to three minute walk to the train station and walking distance to all of the shops and dining options. Rooms are comfortable enough but outdated looking. Walls are a little thin, could hear conversations and music of the people next door. Luckily it didn’t last long. Overall, would recommend and would stay here again!
