We stay overnight in Oregon quite often on our way to see our son in Seattle and this hotel was one of the best we have stayed at! It is in a great location, the decor is very nice, our bed and pillows were extremely comfortable ensuring a good night’s sleep, and the young men that checked us in and out at the front desk were very personable and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back!

The only thing I was aware of is cigarette (butts) on the ground outside the side door entrance. Maybe an ashtray might solve the problem. Other wise we had a very nice stay.

The only thing I was not happy is that pool and the hot tub was not working. I love it that they aloud cats there . There was cat show at fairground and My husband, and I were showing our household cats they were some cats that we got from our friend.

Parking lot looked recently re-striped but the spots are not sufficient for many of the vehicles. Most mid-full sized vehicles were taking at least 2 spots. When the staff at the front desk was told a vehicle was actually taking 3 spots and it was a mid sized vehicle and I had to park in a spot where I was actually parked partially on the curb by a tree bc the spots are so small, I was told it was redone and they wanted to make the spots smaller so they could fit more spots. I told him it doesn’t really matter when there were over 14 spots unable to be used bc of the way people were utilizing 2-3 spots.

Killed three ants on the bathroom sink counter. The weird thing is that this is a *second floor* room, and it's mid March... So these must be permanent residents. That math kind of checks... I also killed a large spider that must have come for the buffet. Needless to say, I left my socks on.

The only downside to our stay, was when we checked in, we had to wait for someone to come to the front desk. She was super nice and checked us in quickly, but we had to wait for about 10 minutes for her to get there. Also, we stayed for 3 nights, and after the second night our key did not work, we had to go get it reprogramed. The reason they gave was that the system automatically did 1 or 2 nights, and it had to be manually imput to make it for the entire stay.

Everything was wonderful loved the view of the park and close to many beautiful places and shopping and dining. Quiet at night and comfortable bed with nice linens. The only minus is the hot tub was open but barely warm - so unable to use the hot tub or pool this time. Still a wonderful stay and I look forward to returning.

Family Daycation 😊

My husband and I decided to have a Daycation with our growing family away from home. This hotel was perfect for us. Clean comfortable rooms, heated pool, laundry room, decent breakfast, and close to fun activities, like museums, the mall and plenty of food. Would definitely book again. Recommend for families with small children.

Good location, breakfast, and pool. Unfortunately the hot tub was closed while we were there, so that was a bummer. The staff was especially helpful at breakfast - the silverware spoon was clearly too big for my 7-year old to use in the yogurt. She gave us a couple plastic sets which were much more his size. We also appreciated the complimentary cookies at 7pm! Nice touch having University of Oregon turn of the century photos of earliest sports teams.
