Low cost basic place to sleep if you need to stay around Falkirk area. No frill. Has a Chinese banquet Restarant next door for those that like to overeats. Shared toilets and showers.

It was very suitable for the beginning of our pitstop tour of the east coast. The gentleman who was at the desk on Tuesday evening was very friendly and very helpful. This place had everything that we needed. They even had a list of places to get a takeaway as we got there later than expected. Thank you!

This place should be condemned. The toilet and hand basin was inside the shower!! I have never seen that before. There was a leak from the shower and the shower cubicle and the carpet in the room was soaking wet. The shower cubicle was covered in mould and fungus, an absolute health hazard. There was no headboard on the beds and the walls were filthy. Really think trading standards and health and safety would shut this place down. No way on this earth would I recommend staying here. Was going to put photos on, but I couldn't upload them.

TERRIBLE

Spent no longer than 5 minutes here. Wouldn’t have let my dog sleep in the room provided. Requested a refund at the front desk which they agreed to but told me to sort it through hotel.com. When I tried sorting with Hotel.com they said the hotel wouldn’t grant the refund and there was nothing they could do. Lost out on around £500. Poor service from both Metro Inn and Hotel.Com, wouldn’t recommend using either of them for anything. Save your money and use other services.

Good price for a night with shared bathroom, it's clean enough, also has a kitchen, even though we didn't use it, there is a Chinese buffet and Italian restaurant next to it.

Hotel was dated and had people living there who looked like asylum seekers and benefit type residents.The room itself was clean and comfortable and surprisingly soundproofed. Do not leave anything edible in the communal fridge in the kitchen as my food was taken and it was only in there overnight, hotels full of scroungers homeless types. Saying that the room served its purpose for the price, a clean comfortable bed for the night, just keep your door locked specially if you go out.

Avoid at all costs

Absolutely horrible experience. We checked out within two hours of checking in. The rooms did not even have bathrooms in them something we were not aware of before we booked. The shared bathrooms in the hallway we like cubicles. Two toilets were out of order. The disabled toilet and shower was the only one that we could possibly used. But the door didn’t lock. With a wife and daughter in my party, this was not acceptable. The place felt like it was being used as a halfway house. In the car park, I witnessed two drug deals. Within the space of five minutes. The residents coming and going were unsavory. It felt like a prison halfway house. We checked out within a couple of hours of checking in fortunately we got a nicer place next door. But at much more cost.
