This was a beautiful place and we very much enjoyed our time.
Room was very clean. Needed refurbished. Shower was a trickle and difficult to get the right temperature. Only one window in the room opened. No fan in bathroom. Bed very comfortable.
Lovely places to eat nearby. (We did not eat in hotel) Ben Mhor hotel, Grant arms, The Wee Puffin and The Garth Hotel.
Parking was interesting with no real car park but wasn't too busy so managed to find a space.
My daughter and I stayed one night with our dog. Yes hotel is old like many similiar hotels in the UK but everything in the room worked and we slept well after a long day of walking
High Street is 5 minutes walk and has nice shops and cafes.
The building is beautiful with great architecture, the rooms were quite spacious and very clean. Recently updated I believe. The lobby and bar, restaurant were lovely as well. Friendly staff too! My booking through Expedia did not go through and we were lucky they had availability and the manager was able to sort it all out.
