⚠️ THIS IS NOT A 5-STAR HOTEL — IT’S A 3-STAR AT BEST. AVOID. Do not be fooled by the 5-star label. This hotel is no more than a 3-star facility with poor service and serious issues. I was upgraded to a junior suite on the 8th floor — directly under a noisy 9th-floor kitchen or construction zone. Staff were already aware of the noise problem but still assigned the room. That night, from 8 PM to 2 AM, loud drilling and banging continued nonstop. I couldn’t sleep. Calls to the front desk achieved nothing. I even went in person — still, no action taken. Worse, the hotel never informed me about ongoing construction, nor offered compensation. This is unacceptable. Before the noise, the Wi-Fi didn’t work and there was no hot water until a technician fixed it. The next morning, I was moved back to a standard room — too late to fix the damage. Let me be clear: ❌ Not a 5-star hotel. ❌ No proper service or accountability. ❌ Inconsistent, noisy facilities. ❌ You won’t get rest here. ✅ Only the location is convenient — close to the airport shuttle and Taksim Square. But if you actually want to sleep, this is the worst possible choice. This hotel ruined my night in Istanbul. Don’t let it ruin yours. Stay elsewhere.
