Very disappointed in our stay this time. We have stayed here before about 4 years ago. You now have to pay to park. Our room was dirty, specifically the bathroom. It had blue shaving cream or toothpaste on the floor plus the floor was just dirty. I went down to the front desk & asked if they could please send someone up to change the sheets (had hair on them) & clean the bathroom. We were leaving to go to the city so they had plenty of time to do it. There is no safe either so we took everything out of the room so they could come back & clean and have no obstacles. When we returned after midnight, our beds were remade but the bathroom floor was still dirty. Literally had the blob of blue stuff on the floor. When you are paying $400+ a night this is unacceptable. It’s unacceptable regardless but this place wasn’t cheap IMO. One more thing when I have to pay $50 extra for 4 people in my room, my room should be equipped for 4 people. I shouldn’t have to go find more towels & wash clothes. Do better SpringHill Suited by Marriott, East Rutherford.

I’ve stayed here twice prior since it’s easier to take my daughter to the water park at Dream Mall in the morning. This will be my last stay at this hotel since they’ve made changes I dislike: 1. The free breakfast is basically cereal, eggs and sausages - no pancakes, waffles or anything else which I felt is more limited than last time. 2. $10 fee EACH night of parking - that was a fun bonus, 3. They took about 20 mins to check in since they had only 1 person working the front desk. Workers are nice and place is clean but too many hotels in the area to accept above. I’ll be picking one of them when we come back in April.
