If you want to dine at the hotel make sure you’re on time, 3 of us flew in from Dubai, arrived very hungry at 9.01pm and were told the restaurant closed 1 minute ago. A hotel obviously run for the benefit of the staff and not the guests.

Independent gem in Fife

All aspects of the visit were excellent We enjoyed good breakfasts Diner menu well thought out. Room spacious, huge bathroom with both tub and large shower. Plenty of toiletries. Cleanliness exemplary Charming and helpful staff Situation , well placed for road access for all routes. Well maintained grounds, the team were busy as we left.

Absolutely first class in all respects if you are travelling by car. Great parking. Super clean and beautiful rooms. In house restaurant and a pub within a short walk but that is all, since the hotel is located in a residential area. Sets the standard that hotels should aim for.

Really nice hotel. Very clean. I went there for the quietness as well, and to go to Edinburgh. It was brilliant and quiet. Food was really excellent there. Bring your snacks if your not driving. I got a taxi to the hotel from kirkaldy station. There were taxis outside the station which was brilliant. In case they are not, its worth having a number to hand just in case. I didnt realise i could have got a direct train to London but more options anyway from Edinburgh. Grtting to/from Edinburgh was straight forward. Would definitely return.
