The room was absolutely beautiful. Exquisite and clean. The staff was cordial and friendly. the complimentary wine and custard tarts was the icing on the cake. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay on Portugal.

Hotel was clearly very nice but seemed a bit empty. The rooms had a few odd elements like a door to the toilet that blocks the toilet paper dispenser and an extra door between the entry and the bedroom. I struggled to get the air conditioning to come on without turning the thermostat very low, and because they turn it off when you are not in the room, my room was very humid whenever I returned to it.
