I was so happy they allowed me to check in several hours early, after a red-eye flight. So accommodating. They didn’t even charge me extra, as my room was available. Top notch.

WELL-SITUATED AND WELL-RUN HOTEL

This is the second time we have stayed here in the last couple of years with a couple of friends. As with the previous stay the staff were brilliant. The hotel is ideally situated near a metro station and a pleasant 3/4 mile walk from the centre, on a broad avenue near a park. The rooms were a decent size and were kept spotlessly clean. We ate at the hotel on 2 occasions and, as previously, the food and drinks were excellent, and served by courteous and good humoured staff. Breakfasts were good and well-supervised. I would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone and would mention Bina, Marcio, and Paula for their assiatance.

Need to improve breakfast ‘hot’ food.

Was here for three days last week and returned for one night before leaving Portugal. Staff are ok. Room and bathroom excellent and comfortable. But the ‘hot’ food at breakfast was - on both visits - tepid at most. The other food was excellent. But HOT food should be HOT.

The property is in a great location. Very nice welcome from reception. The room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant looked newly refurbished and the breakfast had a good selection. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay! Have been to Lisbon several times and this is our favorite hotel by far. Location is fantastic. Comfortable beds, pillows, great a/c, shower pressure excellent. Quiet, didn’t hear noise from nearby rooms. Good housekeeping. Excellent service at this hotel, it is unbelievable. Special mention to Rafael and Maura— super helpful and friendly.

great location with links to all the hotspots and city centre, thus a bit loud because of it (sirens and cars, music outside etc). hotel walls quite thin but room was spacious and well kept. thank you!

Don't particularly recommend

In a nutshell: - Location: excellent. Close to metro, good area. - Air conditioning: excellent - strong. - Price point: average - you can likely find a more impressive property within the same vicinity at a similar price point. - Service: average with poor problem solving skills/attitude - Property condition: at best average (e.g. ripped curtains, worn out chairs but had renovated bathrooms) - Comfort: below average We had some minor issues with the room that snowballed over the course of our visit. The shower would take a long time to heat up, the toilet flush was poor, bathroom door wouldn't close properly, noise would carry through in the morning before 9am by housekeeping, etc. What left us with a bad impression was there was ultimately a disruptive problem with the toilet - it wouldn't flush and you could hear the water leaking very loudly. Long story short, we were led to believe it was being fixed but it wasn't, eventually learnt that it could not be fixed until the next day after waiting 2+ hours. Ultimately my husband and I had to proactively offer to change rooms even if it meant to be downgraded. The situation should have been managed with more professionalism, proactivity and a solution and less of a goofy nonchalant attitude by the night receptionist. Anyway, probably just our bad luck with the room and service and when there aren't any problems that arise, the hotel is fine to stay at (for the right price point). I however would never stay here again.
