Amenities could be better. Kettle but no coffe, tes, sugar, milk? Why have a kettle. Little dusty, we went to chamge the plug on the lamp and it was dusty on the plug sockets which led us to look at the skirting, which was also dusty. Just a little tired tbh. People up and down the corridors all night. Not massively secure. Never wuestionned when walking in, you can get in the lift without a key card and go to any floor, never questionned at breakfast, just walked straight in. Tbh, wouldnt stay there again, looks much better online that in reality

Staff was friendly was accommodating. Rooms were a little too hot and small but they were equipped with what was needed. Elevator is super slow. Location was great. It was across the street from a cinema, close to puerta de sol and lots of shopping and restaurants. Easy to carh a taxi outside of hotel.

Very nice hotel in the city center. Virtually everything was walkable. Noticed slight wear in some areas of the hotel, but that shouldn’t be a knockout factor.

Area was noisy. Hotel very basic. Few amenities and bathroom tiny without counter space. No drawers and small closet. Breakfast was buffet only. Pretty good location and get good walking shoes. Madrid is a maize and sea of people.

The photos on their website and booking platforms (I booked through Hotels.com) are misleading compared to the actual condition of the rooms. As others have pointed out, the front desk staff is far from welcoming. There was concerning mold in the shower, and the vents were filthy. The Wi-Fi in the rooms was unreliable, forcing us to use our own data. The manager dismissed our concerns, claiming they reached out to offer a room change—which never happened. They ignored our emails about the false advertising and hygiene issues and only offered a 10% discount on our next stay. Honestly, when am I ever coming back to Madrid from Canada? What a joke. Hotels.com is also failing to address the false advertising, but I will continue to pursue both the hotel and them until we are properly compensated.

Great position, very close to Mercado de San Miguel, Santa Ana and Plaza Mayor. The staff was very attentive and gentle, giving me all the information regarding the best way of exploring the city on foot. The bathroom was too small, but it could be solved by add a shower instead of a bath.
