Good hotel - skip breakfast.

Good hotel with pleasant and professional staff. The largest thing that needs improvement is the breakfast, it’s the same each day. The only protein you will find is a hard boiled egg that is served chilled. Otherwise, you can have a choice of all carbs: waffle, bagel, biscuit, toast, instant oatmeal/grits. Many other La Quinta properties offer a better selection and variety for breakfast.

Our front desk agent was great! She was pleasant and personable. Quickly changed our room when we called about the noisy guest in the adjoining room next door. However the new room was covered in mothballs, the bed was lumpy and every time the air unit kicked in it smelled of marijuana from outside. The bathroom floor and baseboards were peeling. Housekeeping forgot to vacuum the corners of the room. Pretty dusty. (But at least it was quiet) It was fine for sleeping the one night. If I was staying longer I would have made another call to the front desk. Room 300 needs some help.
