This is our second time at this resort. The first time we were blown away. This time, not so much. The food was amazing, when the places we wanted to go to were actually open. It seems they rotate certain restaurants being closed. Also they add 15% tip to all meals, and 10% tourist tax. One night they had a private event running and had to call to the front desk more than once to find out when the music would stop. We were on the 16th floor, it didnt stop til 1030. And they started drilling at 9am... It seems we were there during construction because every day there was something getting drilled/saws etc.

The property is huge and it takes a little while to orient to the different hotels, pools and other facilities. The water park was very nicely maintained and there were many different rides ranging from thrilling to relaxing. Would have appreciated some information on conditions of the different beaches daily in the app as well as restaurant closures. The pools were clean and there were plenty of chairs. Would have been nice if there were more locations to get beach towels. The restaurants can be very expensive but there were plenty of warnings about the price. What we found annoying was that several places were closed, especially when the crowd got larger. In the evenings there was not much in terms of entertainment especially for kids/teens. The room was quite spacious but our phone was not working and no one came to fix it despite speaking with front reception in person. We got the ocean view room so we enjoyed the gorgeous views daily. Overall this was a lovely stay. It was our first time but probably not the last!

First time visiting this hotel. Jad a great time. Being 50+ felt like a little kid visiting all the pols and slides. Really made me sleep well at night. Rooms was great. Had a little issue but they adressed right away. Stayed in Haborside. Beautiful view. Didn't stay in Room much but it was nice to look over the habor. Resturants, had alot to choose from. Most of the night we went to the marina and found a Resturant outside there. The parade was amazing , very colorful and was fun to watch. Definitely will stay agin.

The room at The Royal was bright but cozy with a view of the bay and sunset. The staff was very nice everywhere we went. The whole property is very walkable but there is a shuttle to each property literally every few mins. Aquaventure is pretty great. Tons of pools, man-made beaches an a real beach too. I found the drinks to be especially delish, get the Miami Vice, and reasonably priced. Tons of food options so if you wanna save your money do your research before going. There are cheaper options in the marina area and Aquaventure. We went Oct 21 so it was offseason and never waited in lines for the park, 10 -15 for food. Would definitely stay there again!
