I think the property is great and has some good amenities were great (pools, beaches) but would have loved to see a larger variety of food options (local, cheaper, etc) I found that the customer service in the marina village and some of the water park to be terrible, quite often rude and didn't really have up to date knowledge on the property. I found it odd that my room never had any soap (luckily I brought my own)

The Royal at Atlantis in the Bahamas is a decent resort, but it doesn’t quite live up to the hype. The location is great, with beautiful beaches and a variety of pools, but the overall experience feels overpriced for what you get. The rooms are fine but could use some updating, and service can be hit or miss—sometimes attentive, other times slow and indifferent. The resort offers plenty of activities, especially for families, with the water park being the main highlight. However, it gets crowded, and lines for the slides can be long. Dining options are plentiful, but the food is expensive, and quality varies. Some restaurants are excellent, while others are just average, making it hard to justify the high prices. Overall, the Royal at Atlantis is good for a fun getaway, especially for families, but it’s not as luxurious or seamless as one might expect given the cost. If you’re looking for a high-end, all-inclusive experience, there are better options in the Bahamas.

There is SO much to do at Atlantis! The Royal is the location for you, if you want to be in the center of the action. The rooms are nice and newly renovated. I would recommend upgrading to the Ocean view or Harbor (Marina) view. We loved every second of looking out over the Beaches, and Aquaventure water park from our Ocean view! This property is amazing for families with children. We have a 5, and 7 y/o who absoulutely loved every second of the trip. Beaches, waterpark slides, pools, aquariums, dolphin experience, learning about marine life with trainers. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! The only negative we had is how expensive and mediocre the food is. We did some pre planning and shopping to make it more affordable! Overall we would highly recommend Royal Atlantis to anyone with children!

There is no place like Atlantis. Staying there is a very unique and entertaining experience. Most of the staff that we spoke with were very helpful and accommodating. The grounds are breathtaking and attention to detail in the decor was very impressive. The only drawback would be the food prices. When staying at the resort, you really are captive to their food options as there aren't many other choices close by. Meals were significantly overpriced, to the point that I wouldn't stay there for more than 2-3 days. Even in the little sundry shop, we paid $14 for a package of Chips O'Hoy and $18 for a small tube of sun screen!! But for 2-3 days, it was a nice get-away, overall.

The customer service staff were great, but most of the dining staff were really unfriendly and borderline rude. I think it's because gratuity is builtt into all food/beverage options so they really don't have to be nice.

I thought overall the experience was wonderful. I didn’t give it 5 stars due to the food affordability and the pricing not consistent with the quality at some restaurants. Carmines was horrible but the steakhouse was excellent. I felt it also lacked a variety of entertainment for the evening.
