The room I had was so hot because of the hot water pipe running through the room. It must have been 80 degrees at least. As a result, I didn’t sleep well. Otherwise the location is great and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend a room in the back of the building as the street level noise is loud.

Good staff. LOUD @$$ BED but comfortable. Tiny cozy room. Shared bathroom but other guests were respectful. 2 flights of stairs, NO ELEVATOR. This was pretty bad but manageable just horrible after walking all day. Free water and snacks. Good stay, u get more than expected from the price!

Room was literally at the front entrance of the hotel so could hear every guest coming and going. Unable to open shades/curtains bc there would be zero privacy. Mattress was super uncomfortable and bedframe was very noisy any time we even rolled over. Not a great night’s rest in this particular room but bathroom was updated and very clean and the staff was great. Have stayed here before and the room was better but still a fair amount of street noise

The location is awesome, the staff is friendly and very willing to help and that makes a difference! The rooms were cleaned and as described. The only negative part is that the garbage trucks and contruction people were working at night time and it was difficult not to be awaken by the noises outside and close to the hotel. Otherwise, really enjoyed my stay for my solo trip!

Clean, tidy, easy to find and get in and out of without keys. Good location. Quiet. Small room with good sized bathroom but its new york and you're not in the room other than to sleep so does the job. Would recommend for easy fuss free travellers.

I think the fact that there is no elevator and I had to walk up 5 flights of stairs with my luggage and that I would have to share a bathroom with the room next door - should have been clearer in the description; then I would not have stayed there.

I was not aware that there was no elevator. Our room was on the fifth floor. I have back issues as well as a bad knee and so that was not an easy or pleasant experience after a long day in the city. Then once we got to our room, the radiator was located where we could not reach it behind the headboard and the temperature in the room was 82°. The mini split would not turn on the air. It only was on heat as well. We brought this to the attention of the maintenance guy and he said he was going to call the super, but nobody ever came to check it out thankfully there was a ceiling fan a little comfort. Overall, I was not happy with the location of our room in the building, and the temperature in the room. Even though we brought it to the attention of the maintenance and front desk, it was not addressed until Saturday night around midnight. Thankfully, front desk could reach the radiator and was able to turn it down for our final night stay.

Staff was super helpful when we needed some things addressed in our room! As long as you know there's no elevator and you have to take the stairs you're fine! We enjoyed the location. It was walkable to many food options and the subway.

Very cozy spot to lay my head in the middle of a busy working week. Nice private bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, comfortable heating and cooling. Contactless check-in was smooth and fast too!
High ceilings and just what you need when crashing in the City.
