Had a great stay here, our first room had an issue but the staff were quick to send maintenance to fix it and moved us into another room without any questions. Staff were quick to respond to additional supply requests and on site amenities were great, we were also pleasantly surprised with the price and quality of the food from the Copa Loca Grill! Would stay here again!

We weren't greeted with a smile. It was late, we were tired and it would have been nice. They charged us a $30 parking fee. That is rediculous. We wernet given any information about amenities at all which is ehy i booked there. Had to park 2 blocks from our room. The door had been painted over peeling paint. Walked in and room was ok. Small tv. Went out to the patio and the screen fell off. Called to ask for late checkout with no response. Got to bed around 2 and was called at 8:30 am to try to sell us a vacation package! The shampoos were put in the way of your arms when showering with minimal watwr pressure. I usually love the Marriott and this was not one of those times. I paid more and did not receive what i paid for.

The amenities are great! The room was ok. The bathroom could’ve been a little cleaner. The staff was very friendly. They will make multiple attempts to get you to attend the “presentation”. Parking is $30/day which is not disclosed on the Horels.com site.

There were bugs in my villa. I called the hotel manager as soon as I realized I had bug bites and I was itchy all over. The hotel manager said she would investigate and get back to me. It’s been a week and she never got back to me. I was only there for 1 night.

The resort claims to be 4stars but it’s really outdated. Everything is a far walk due to the way the buildings are spread across the property. The room smelled odd and wasn’t very clean. Stains on the carpet and the couch, there was heavy dust on the fan and in the vents which caused my allergies to spike. The tub was clogged and slow to drain. Had to call service to fix it. I had to retighten the toilet seat, extreme movement left and right. The front desk only validated our room keys for one day and not the 4 we were staying. Had to go back to the front desk to rekey the cards at night when I had lugged my items up to my room on the 4th floor and then had to take them back to my car to drive to the main lobby building 1/4 mile down the road to have the keys reprogrammed. Received what I thought was updated keys, drove back to discover the update didn’t take. I had my hands again full with items which I didn’t feel like taking back down 4 flights of stairs to the car. I called the front desk and waited 30 min for someone to bring new room keys. No offer was made by the staff to comp us for this inconvenience when it happened. The constant slamming of the other doors on the floor was loud (due to the rooms opening to the outside and the cleaning crew in and out of the rooms repeatedly; not what I expected from a resort, reminded me of a cheaper 2 star hotel from the 70s’80s) not to mention we could hear the elevator going up and down all night. Don’t recommend to others.
