Awful Front Desk Staff

Let me start off by saying I have stayed at this resort a number of times before and have gone to other resorts in between and always say it’s not like the Sheraton and make my way back. But this experience was absolutely horrible. The cleaners, bar staff, restaurant staff, and activity staff were amazing as always but the front desk staff and managers were extremely rude and they are the fist thing you walk into and the first point of contact if you need anything. If I had to call to even just ask a question I felt like a bother or a burden to them. Also I had a billing question during my stay because I was under the impression that the room deposit they take from you is so that you can change things on the resort to your room. That is not the case and on day 3 they charged my card directly for anything I had done. So I called for clarification and the manager on shift was extremely rude and made me feel stupid for even asking. And when I asked “can I come down to the front desk so I can hopefully see it in person to better understand” it was followed up by the comment of “no I don’t want you to do that sir”. And I don’t know if it was because of the way I look or what it what but I did feel as though they were discriminating against me. Sadly I will not be staying here again after they made me feel as I did as everyone knows vacations are not cheap and I will not pay to be disrespected.

Our unit in the Lakes was very difficult to find. Guard attendants were friendly. We did have housekeeping banging on our door 10:02am with the Do Not Disturb Sign hanging on the outside.
