The ladies at the front desk are wonderful! The room itself is pretty basic. The bed wasnt bad but far from great and whoever chose the lighting arrangement needs their head examined. 1 lamp and a couple lights around the bed was it and its barely ample to illuminate the room. The shower head is basic with smaller than average towels, that barely cover a grown man. It sits next to another hotel and the rooms face each other so i felt like the opposite hotel guests could look into my room at any time so the shade was down most of the time, which again affected the lighting in the room. The hallway smelled like cigarettes the last 3 nights of my stay even though theres no smoking signs everywhere

The property was ok. I have stayed here previously and definitely had a better experience that time than this weekend. The air conditioning was broken in my room and the floor became humid and slippery in the morning. When I advised the front desk they told me that it is a regular occurrence. My 3 year old son was slipping on the wet floor and we were all sweating in the room. Definitely not a great experience and I really felt dismissed by the front desk.

We recently stayed at TRYP and were very pleased with the overall experience. For the price, the hotel offers great value. The location is excellent—close to SeaWorld, Discovery Cove, Aquatica, and the Convention Center. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, which made everything super convenient. The front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming, especially Angela, who stood out with her upbeat and friendly attitude—she made check-in a pleasure. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. However, a word of caution: if you’re booking a mobility capable room, be sure to clarify what type you’re getting. I’ve stayed in one before without issue, but since I checked in very late and the hotel was fully booked, I was placed in one of the two truly mobility-accessible rooms. It had a roll-in shower with a wand shower head, which was difficult for my daughter and me to use. It wasn’t ideal, but we made it work. A special shoutout to the housekeeping team—my daughter accidentally left her Apple Watch in the room after checkout. I wasn’t expecting it to be found, but thankfully, TRYP has honest staff. Huge thanks to Jose for ensuring it was returned to the front desk. It really meant a lot. Overall, I would definitely stay here again—just not in the mobility room. Great value, great location, and outstanding customer service.
