For the extremely reasonable price point, this was a good stay. The barception area was well stocked, well staffed and very clean. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and in decent working order. We had a booked a small room, and boy, was it small. The room consisted of the bed, a chair, a small work surface with a lamp and coat hooks. The bed was reasonably comfortable, if a little too firm. Our main issue was that there is no way at ALL to control the temperature in the room. The window does not open, there was no thermostat and it was so uncomfortably hot every night of our stay, even at -4 outside overnight and with the heater fully off. The staff at reception were able to offer us a fan, which helped, but it was still uncomfortable. The service was excellent, the staff were knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

The front desk person is also the bartender so I was cut off by some guy who really needed a beer and had to use the kiosk to check in which was slow. Breakfast is served later on weekends so we couldn't eat because we were catching a train. The breakfast and proximity to the train was why I picked this hotel! The room was very clean.
