Clean and quiet. Great location. Wish the rooms would keep complimentary fresh water bottles considering it's the peak of summer. Staff at checkin seemed agitated with any questions i would ask. Otherwise all staff at check out was helpful and smiling.

For the price, the better options is the Fairmont Chateau Laurier. All the little things just a step up at the Fairmont. Things that could have been better: view, A/C was not fully working, bed/pillows were not comfortable for us, elevators a bit junky.

Pretty good hotel. Forced valet is not ideal, but overall the hotel is nice. It's in walking distance of the parliament buildings and the Byward market.
