To start, the management of CitizenM knows what they are doing and have exceeded my high standards in every way. Modern, high tech, convenient, beautiful, efficient, very friendly, comfortable like a home, intuitive to every need, logical and simple controls of some very nice features not found in most hotels. After staying at CitizenM, I don’t think I can stay anywhere else. From iPad mini control of every room feature, seamless control from you phone to auto light and shades, cool colors, to prompt delivery of delicious food to a special night cap of the best chocolate lava cake with French vanilla ice cream. You have to stay at CitizenM Bravo!

Very appealing decor. We had a nice stay. The staff was super nice and helpful. The lack of a coffee make or tea kettle was a surprise. This is now standard in all hotels. Also, having USB outlets will be very helpful.

CitizenM is always a reliable and fun place to stay—you really can’t go wrong. The Gare de Lyon location in Paris was stylish, clean, and comfortable, with all the tech features I love. The iPad in the room let me control everything from lighting to curtains, and the color settings added a fun, customizable vibe. Staff was friendly, and the hotel overall has a cool, modern feel that makes it stand out. The biggest downside for me was the location. While it’s super convenient and well-connected with public transportation, the area feels more like a new business district than the Paris most people imagine. My view faced a plain building, and I didn’t get any of that charming Parisian atmosphere from the room. I also booked through Hotels.com and unfortunately couldn’t use my CitizenM membership benefits—which usually include better views or perks—so that was a letdown. Still, the hotel delivers on comfort and experience. If you’re looking for a clean, tech-savvy, and well-connected spot, it’s great. But if you’re hoping to wake up to a view of the Eiffel Tower or a classic Parisian street, this location might not be ideal for the price.

Beautiful hotel right next to Gare du Lyon, fabulous lobby and places to relax, the room was small but lovely and clean, quiet and full of fun features for the kid to play with. Black out blinds made for a great sleep.

Highly recommended! Very comfortable bed! Room is small. Would be cramped after several nights. But for a one night stay in Paris it was perfect. Close to the train. Great air conditioning. Super comfortable night’s sleep. Pleasantly surprised. I would like a coffee station included without paying extra but this isn’t common in Europe.
