I used to like it here because my daughter lives in the area and it was convenient. I had a reservation for a year. I paid up for a corner suite. I was given a handicap room with a bathroom with mold that needed a professional cleaning. When I complained the manager gave me 50 dollars back when I had paid much more for a better room. Not good enough, bye bye

Good bye Sofitel

My neutral rating is because of my disappointment with the new policy at Sofitel that charges a fee for early room entry. Until recently, a customer was allowed entry to their room if it was vacant and cleaned, not that I always expected that nor asked for it. A traveler cannot always control the time they'll arrive. On this particular day, it was pouring down rain. It seems customer satisfaction has been replaced by corporate greed. My past two decades of staying in the Sofitel suites has now come to an end.

Took time on Mother's Day weekend to have some me time with a staycation. This hotel was up to date, chic and really beautiful. My luxury room was nice and serene. Room service was good, wish it had a little more options. Also, streaming through google cast was a bit inconvenient, i would have preferred the option to sign in and not have my phone for that. Otherwise , enjoyed my me time.

Noisy room. Not a restful night.

Noise. Noise. Noise. Not from outside, but from the AC and ductwork inside and above the room. It was the worst night I’ve had at a hotel in a very long time. The room was clean but didn’t seem well maintained, e.g. light bulbs were missing in lightning fixtures. The hefty and scammy Resort Fee is just the cherry on the icing …… In the upside, the breakfast buffet was lovely - as you’d expect for that price.
