The hotel is old fashioned, clean, good facilities. The breakfast was good but not recognisably Scottish.

Relaxing Weekend

Pros: Location, staff, food, ambience.
Cons: Carpets in the room and upgrade bathrooms however the room was clean, warm and comfortable.
Location: Lovely walks in the local area and great range of shops.
Weekend break was lovely and the hotel was basic but clean. The room was lovely and staff friendly. The food was very warm and presented well. The location is excellent and it is evident upgrades are taking place. The Saturday night entertainment- Jay Jackson- was very good and it was a lovely atmosphere. The hotel has plenty of character about it.
