Overall, we were very disappointed in all of the restaurants for the quality of food. We love to spend time on the beaches and the hotel rarely would drag the seaweed off of the beach so if you got near the water, you were walking in seaweed. Very inconvenient and that the majority of the hotels are not in the TRS Hotel and would have to go to other properties to get to the hotel.

The resort was well kept with good dining options. The staff was very friendly. Our butler Nilson was very hospitable and he went out of his way to make our stay memorable. I'd definitely recommend this resort to everyone.

Disappointing Stay – TRS Turquesa Falls Short of “Luxury” Expectations We recently stayed at TRS Turquesa with a group of 20, and unfortunately, our experience was far from the luxury, all-inclusive resort that was marketed. The most glaring issue was the complete lack of service and obvious deferred maintenance throughout the property. Despite the promise of butler service, there was little to no follow-through. We were sent a detailed pre-arrival email asking for pillow preferences, drink choices, and celebration notes — none of which were honored. It’s clear that these touches are more about presentation than actual guest experience. The resort felt significantly understaffed, and the staff that were present seemed disengaged and unhappy to be working with guests. It often took 15–20 minutes just to get a drink, and trying to get a reservation at any restaurant was next to impossible — even though many were visibly empty when we walked by. The property itself shows signs of neglect, with areas that clearly need repair or updating. Many in our group had additional problems, from room issues to poor communication and missed services. TRS Turquesa has the potential to be a truly luxurious destination, but without better staffing, training, and attention to guest experience, it simply doesn’t live up to the hype.

We were pleasantly surprised to learn that we got butler service with our resort stay. Norris was our butler for the week and she worked so hard to make our stay exceptional. The rooms are beautiful and she even decorated and surprised us with champagne and rose petals in the room one day! It was such a nice treat to come back to. There are many food options, all of which we enjoyed. One of my favorite perks of working with Norris was that she was able to make all of our dinner reservations for us. I have stayed at many other resorts where this was difficult, especially with a group. We simply texted Norris what restaurants we were interested in and what time we preferred, and she made it happen! We attended the Chic Cabaret dinner and show and it was fantastic! The beach and pools were nice and clean. They worked hard to remove the seaweed on the beach daily. TRS is one of the nicest resorts I have stayed at in the Caribbean and I highly recommend it. Thank you, Norris, for making our stay enjoyable and memorable!

Norielis was truly amazing, she is so sweet and honestly I’d recommend coming to this property because of her, she is nice and kind and amazing customer services, extremely quick to respond and so helpful anytime I needed something. Amazing job Norielis, I wish you the best! She deserves all the good comments and treatments! Eileen, at the reception was so great as well, her customer service is worth commending! Jose Luis at the pool party bar, he is too good at making drinks and his customer service is out of the world, muy bien!!! These 3 people above mentioned must get a raise and get the best rewards possible! Ricardo at the reception was super rude, ignore if you can, he’s not helpful at all and also I had issues with my bracelet and treated me super unprofessionally.

This resort was fantastic! We stayed at TRS Turquesa Hotel and our personal butler was Edward. He made sure we were taken care of daily and gave us up to date daily information regarding events, entertainment, weather, and restaurants choices. He also made sure our nightly dinner reservations were booked and if we needed transportation he was always on top of it. He made our stay more than we ever could have imagined. Everyone is very friendly and polite and the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

There were many positives (the spa is an absolute MUST) the property on the Turquesa side is beautiful and clean, the staff are mostly polite and helpful. The negatives would be the usual about any resort in Punta Cana. The food is soap and the staff are on a wild search for tips. The room itself was not as promised - we booked a king with a pull out queen. We got a king and 2 chairs. The cleaning staff doe the rooms the first night amazing - then we got a younger girl after who was SO LAZY. The waiters in the VIP section were outstanding. The entertainment was typical.and

Our butler Noris was the best we’ve ever experienced!!! She checked in on us continuously and always was available to us for anything we needed or wanted.
