Save your money. Food is awful, absolutely awful.. We were pushed out of one restaurant before we even got to order dessert. The buffet closes at 10:30pm and was turning people away at 10:15pm. One of the bars smelt of sewer. Drinks absolutely suck and servers act like they hate it. They sell cigars in the theater area but you can only smoke them on the beach yet don’t say anything about kids jumping in the pool area where the swim up bar is. We purchased the club and there was honestly zero benefit other than the VIP lounge which has higher quality alcohol. VIP only beach area was small and hard to find a chair. The beach had bar cups as well as around the pool that we picked up several times. On top of that the beaches were rough. Just not relaxing at all. It was an every day chore to ask for new towels in the room and the changing of linens. The atmosphere is off and very boring. We are not party people at all but it slacked in so many ways. We wanted to go into town and all they tried to do was sell us excursions. We finally got someone to find a taxi for us to go downtown and it was $100 round trip. We decided to look into uber and it was much cheaper. We will never return to this resort. Save your money!!

This hotel offers great entertainment, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. However, the property itself feels quite dated, and some of the restaurant food did not meet our expectations. We had especially looked forward to a Valentine’s dinner on the beach, but due to the weather, that experience was not possible. Unfortunately, rather than working with us to adjust or cancel the reservation, the staff focused on keeping the booking as is, as commission was priority to them, and did not offer flexibility with the cost. As a result, we ended up dining indoors like all the other guests, but at a much higher price point, and the portions were far more than we could finish. Since this is an all-inclusive resort, the food itself was not the main reason we booked the experience, we were really paying for the ambiance and setting, which we were unable to enjoy.
This restaurant was our favorite!
Entertainment schedule can be found by the cafe. It changes everyday.

The check-in was horrible. It seemed apparently Expedia never sent over the payment to the hotel. This mix up took hours to resolve and I was forced to charge another credit card (possible duplication payment) before the reserved room was released. While charging a credit card on file usually happens at the end of the stay as such that was not the case here. Moreover, Expedia strongly encouraged me to buy this insurance to avoid any problems such as this but to no avail. It made our stay very salty from the door. And every time I reach out to Expedia Customer Service we got mixed information they were telling me the hotel was paid which match my paper work and then we would get disconnected I would call back and the same thing would happen, until they told me they would reach out to the hotel direct to straighten this out. But it never got straightened out and I ended up paying the hotel directly for the stay. After this long flight and almost hour drive to hotel from airport.
