A non applicable option would be more appropriate. Our flight to Reykjavík was canceled due to the snow storm in Keflavik, and Icelandair couldn’t reschedule us through Keflavik in our allotted time We never got to stay at our rooms though we paid for two nights. Of course we are disappointed, I’m sure the hotel is lovely and staff also. Weather and airline took the opportunity away.

What an amazing hotel and amazing staff. They made our honeymoon trip truly so special. The location right in downtown Reykjavík is so convenient, with so much to do within walking distance. The hotel is also very beautiful and clean. We booked the honeymoon package and they went all out, it was so awesome. All the staff was amazing but just to shout out a couple people in particular - Artur helped us out at the bar and he was so kind and great to chat with. Irene from the front desk was emailing with me ahead of time and she was so helpful and nice. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in visiting Iceland.

Stay for 2 nights but room right above the main entrance on the 1st floor with a street lamp right outside. Quite noisy. Tv was not working properly. Lovely bathroom! Breakfast on the first day perfect but on the second day not getting topped up.

The hotel is in a great location! Most tourist sites are an easy walk from this location. The modern styling is nice and the rooms are small, but functionally designed. The spa hot tub and sauna are nice after a long day.

Breakfast had many options a d was fulfilling. I stayed in one of the apartments across the street and I absolutely loved it. Clean, spacious, kitchenette, just awesome. Comfortable bed. The only negative is that the streets are noisy at night due to it being close to the downtown. There is one busker on an accordion until 230am that needs to be banned... seriously, he's terrible. He moves around though to different corners. So it's not controllable. I would absolutely book this again. Everything is close walking distance.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Check in a breeze. The room faced a side street which had no traffic noise from cars but you could hear people yelling, talking loud and laughing at night on the main thoroughfare a block away. Our room was clean and comfortable with the bed and the pillows just to our liking. We still slept well. The hotel location was excellent and we could walk to many places in Reykjavik. Parking was a learning curve for us. We choose to pick up our vehicle at Keflavík airport and drive to Reykjavik. I had previously downloaded an app for parking in Iceland. The first night we were able to park in front of the hotel which was designated a P1 (the most expensive space). The next day we found a parking lot at the cathedral, a P2. Not exactly close to our hotel - no going back if you left something in the car. After a couple of days of fumbling around, we got the hang of parking in Reykjavik and using the parking app. We enjoyed our 4 night stay at this hotel. Every morning we started our day with a hardy breakfast. Food was excellent. My husband could have his typical Midwest fare of eggs, bacon and toast. I preferred the Nordic yogurt, honey and muesli. All very good.! We also took advantage of the spa and sauna. These were located downstairs and included two changing rooms and showers for men and women. The spa is worth seeing even if you don’t take a soak.

Definitely a wonderful second stay here. Our last day was 10 years ago! The staff all seemed excessively helpful and we're willing to answer all questions/manage any requests to their abilities. Missed out on using the hot tub but really appreciated the option. We will look to stay here again if our plans ever bring us back to iceland. It is a magical country with plenty to see and enjoy. We feel like this location is very convenient to downtown and quite affordable

The room was clean, small but comfortable. I have only one complaint about the room, the mirror in the bathroom was hung so high up. I’m quite petite but I never had this problem. I only saw the top of my head in the mirror. The front desk staffs were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. There was a bar behind the hotel and the noise was so loud all night till 5 in the morning. We had to open the windows since there’s no air conditioning so I didn’t have a good night sleep.
