Comfortable and clean with rubbish Wifi. The WiFi didn't extend to our room but worked elsewhere. Instructions to get to the room were a little confusing. Wouldn't have hurt to show us. Stafff very friendly. Good value for the price and had a comfortable night

Plenty of room for improvement

Pros: Looks nice from the front.

Cons: Quite a lot.

Location: It's Sale!

We had a standard double and at £70 for B&B, this is obviously budget range accommodation. The room was reasonably clean, but generally 'tired' and dated. The bed was quite uncomfortable; a cheap mattress on a solid divan base. The buffet breakfast offered a basic choice and the cooked options were, well.... bang average. Cheap sausages, cold bacon which could have been grilled for a bit longer, small and hard fried eggs, sliced mushrooms in a pool of liquid, dried out or half cooked tomato halves and an ocean of baked beans (if that's your thing). My wife asked for scrambled eggs, which were willingly provided, but they were inedible as they had been nuked to oblivion. The coffee was fine. I'm sorry to be so negative, but this is exactly how it was. I would happily have paid more for better quality and I think the owners should consider upping their game to provide a better experience - unless they do, I won't be returning.

Annex room

I'm sure the main building is wonderful but mine was one of the annex rooms. No soundproofing I could hear the man next door snoring!! Heard every noise during the night.

Really nice staff. V helpful.

Lovely staff. Very friendly. Served us a very nice, freshly cooked to order breakfast a little early as we were dashing to airport. Room a little dated but huge and v comfortable. Very handy for airport. Took us 15 mins in heavy traffic - don't stay at a faceless airport chain hotel. Stay here everytime. We will. Thanks again.
