Stayed 2 nights. They were changing TVs in all the rooms with guests in them. Was out all day and when I returned my Samsung pad was gone from my backpack. The safe wasn't working so I took all other valuables with me. The front desk response was that they have housekeeping manager watch the contractors, so it's impossible for my pad to be stolen.

It's a good place to stay, if you stay in or just get out in the morning and come back before sunset. The area around not being unsafe is just very rough, smelly and not welcoming. Bus near or or dropped off by a ride-sharing app is the best way to get in or out.

My colleague had a pair of $200 sneakers removed from inside his locked hotel room and this hotel did absolutely nothing about it, and even tried to blame him. They wouldn't even follow up with him- *he* had to keep asking *them* to provide updates. They acted as though his requests they look into what happened to his shoes was a massive inconvenience from the start, and were utterly indifferent to the fact that someone who wasn't him had access to the room. No offers of restitution were made, and no attempt to look into it (*he* had to ask if they could check the key card record, or if they had security cameras, after *days* of them not looking into it). I'm not expecting them to become Sherlock Holmes, but when he came to them to report something of value was missing from his room they began with complete disinterest and by the end they were hostile to him and acted as though he was being unbearably difficult by expecting them to respond. I do want to note that the staff that works the breakfast station, as well as some front desk staff, were incredibly kind and helpful to him. But other front desk staff and the manger were just awful to my colleague, who was unfailingly polite and patient with them. You will see other reviews complaining about vagrancy outside the hotel. I will tell you that the *only* thing that made me feel unsafe staying here was the way someone was able to enter the room uninvited w/ management's utter indifference.

The hotel is fine it's just in a rather nasty area of town, I was ok but my family felt very intimidated by the locals

We will not stay here again. When we arrived we were told there was a $75 a night hotel charge that we would get back however we found out that parking at the hotel which I thought I saw on the website as $57 was I believe now $67 dollars a night. Which did not include tax. Sad to say if you do the math is almost $75. I asked about near by parking the lady said she didn’t know. We asked the gentleman standing next to her and he stated right up the street a little on the right side. When I asked where are car was they said in a lot behind the hotel and when you call it would take 15-20 minutes to retrieve. We opted to pay the fee however didn’t realize we would have to asks for trash to be picked up and to have towels on the second day as they do not clean your room but every other day. Very disappointing.

Convenient location, easy access to transportation and parking. However there are many homeless and drug addicts but this is everywhere in downtown San Francisco. It is still safe to walk around though.

The place was great. Very clean and the people who worked there were very nice. Once outside on street. It was bums and drugs. Kinda scary.. NO PARKING. THEY CHARGE 75.00 to park your car. Other parking was 40.00 down the street..
