No longer 5 stars. Why should I pay the resort fee when: Pool closed, Jacuzzi closed, steam room and sauna closed? I chose this hotel for these features. And the backup generators enabled an elevator to run during a power outage but they told my girlfriend to wait in the lobby until the power was restored?

San Francisco had a power outage. The hotel was dark when we checked in. The power came on before bedtime but by morning the hotel had no hot water (no showers). We asked for a refund but they couldn't because the room had been charged to Expedia. So, Expedia we expect a refund from your company.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff was all very helpful and friendly. It was also very quiet! There were no loud voices heard through walls or in hallways. My only complaint is the cost of parking! $85 per night + $39 surcharge! I know SF parking charges are ridiculous, but that's insane!

The hotel staff are great, our thermostat set point was 67 degrees which is way too hot to sleep in and they immediately fixed the problem. The bed was uncomfortable tho.

Room was clean but my concern was the restaurant. I had two meals there and the meals were less than average and a charge of 20% gratuity did not help as well.
